Once that’s taken care of, sign our digital agreement to confirm the reservation details. Complete the payment process, and you’re all set!

What is the mileage allowance for Monarq vehicles?

The mileage allowance varies depending on the vehicle type you choose. For our exotic class, you will have 100 miles per 24 hours included with your booking. If you opt for our luxury class, you will have 130 miles per 24 hours included. Should you require additional miles, you have the option to purchase them before receiving the vehicle.

What is the minimum age requirement for booking a car?

To book a car with Monarq, you must be at least 25 years old.

Do I need to pay any taxes?

Yes, taxes are applicable. In our New York location, there is a 8.63% tax for local taxes, and a 12% tax for New York State rental taxes.

Do I need to arrive early for pickup?

Yes, we kindly request that you arrive at the pickup location up to 20 minutes before your scheduled booking time. This additional time is necessary to facilitate the completion of waivers and conduct a walkthrough of the vehicle. Arriving early will help ensure a smooth and timely handover of the Monarqcar, allowing you to start your journey without any delays.

Do you accept walk-ins?

We do not accept walk-ins for Monarq car bookings. Our vehicles are typically booked weeks in advance, and we highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time to secure your preferred booking slot. By reserving in advance, you can ensure availability and guarantee a seamless experience with Monarq. Please plan accordingly and make a reservation through our website or by contacting our reservation team to secure your desired rental period.

What is Monarq’s cancellation policy?

To confirm a reservation, full payment for the rental is required upfront. Same-day cancellations are not permitted. If you need to cancel within 7 days of your reservation period, you have the choice to transfer the reservation to another qualified renter or receive a 50% credit towards your next rental, valid for one year. Please be aware that bad weather alone does not justify cancelling a rental. The vehicle remains reserved unless extreme weather conditions result in state or government road closures. Should you encounter such conditions while using an Monarq vehicle, please contact us promptly. We prioritize your safety and will extend your rental at no extra cost.

Is auto insurance required to rent from Monarq?

Yes, having auto insurance is a requirement to rent from Monarq. The most straightforward method is to maintain an active and valid insurance policy for a vehicle you own or lease. We will confirm this directly with your insurance provider. Customers must carry comprehensive auto insurance, including liability, comprehensive, and collision coverage. Most of our vehicles are covered under an insurance policy with typical limits of 100k/300k/100k. Your personal vehicle type does not affect your eligibility. As long as your insurance policy is current and in good standing, it covers damages to our rental vehicles just like it would for your personal vehicle in an accident. Additionally, American Express cardholders can opt for the ‘Premium Car Rental Protection’ program, which provides coverage specifically for Monarq rental vehicles. This option is available directly through American Express.

How much does it cost to book an Monarq car?

The cost of booking a car with Monarq varies depending on the duration. Our 24-hour booking prices range from $220 to $1,250. The final price is influenced by factors such as the specific make and model of the vehicle, any additional services selected, and the booking period. Our standard business hours are 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, seven days a week. However, we offer dedicated after-hours support for all rentals to ensure a seamless experience whenever you need us.

What is the maximum duration I can rent a vehicle for?

You can rent a vehicle for as long as needed—daily, weekly, or even monthly rates are available.

Is an international driver’s license accepted?

Yes, we accept international driver’s licenses, provided the renter also supplies proof of full coverage insurance, including comprehensive and collision coverage. If such coverage cannot be provided, we also offer rentals through Turo, which accepts all valid international driver’s licenses.

Is the security deposit refundable?

Yes, the security deposit is fully refundable, provided the vehicle is returned on time, in its original condition, and without any outstanding charges. Upon return, we verify the vehicle and check for any applicable tolls, camera violations, or noise citations. Any deductions will be itemized, and the remaining balance is typically refunded within 48 to 72 hours.

Do you offer any discounts or loyalty programs?

Yes, we offer seasonal promotions and loyalty rewards for returning customers and longer-term rentals.

Can I request a specific chauffeur?

Yes, if you’ve worked with a chauffeur before and they are available, we’re happy to accommodate your request.

Are there any penalties for late returns?

Yes, Monarq provides a 1-hour grace period for each booking, allowing for a small window of flexibility in returning the vehicle. However, if the vehicle is returned after the specified time, a late fee of $199 per hour late will be applied. We kindly request our customers to be mindful of the return time to avoid any unnecessary charges.

Do I need a driver’s license?

Absolutely, to rent an Monarqcar, all drivers must possess a valid US driver’s license and be at least 25 years of age or older. We strictly adhere to this requirement to ensure the safety and compliance of all our drivers. Please ensure you meet the specified criteria before proceeding with your reservation.

Do you accept prepaid debit cards/gift cards?

We do not accept prepaid debit cards or gift cards as forms of payment. To proceed with your reservation, all payment cards used must have an embedded chip and be linked to a bank account that matches the name on your Monarq booking agreement. Please ensure that the payment method meets these criteria to complete your booking successfully. Is there a minimum rental period?

The standard minimum rental period for self-drive vehicles is 24 hours. However, we also offer a 4-hour minimum option upon request, which is not listed on our website. For chauffeur services, rentals are available by the hour with a minimum booking of 4 hours.

Do your vehicles have GPS and premium features?

Yes, all our vehicles are equipped with premium features, including GPS navigation, leather interiors, high-end sound systems, and advanced driver assistance systems.

How is rental pricing determined?

Pricing is based on vehicle type, rental duration, mileage, and optional services such as delivery or chauffeur.

How do I make a reservation?

Reservations can be made directly through our website, by phone, via email, or through our Turo page at @monarqmotors. We recommend booking early, especially for high-demand vehicles. To process your reservation, please have the following documents ready: a valid driver’s license, your insurance cover page, and the insurance declaration page.

Can I make last-minute bookings?
